Highlights and Novelties
1. The TCP is for sure the most used transport layer protocol in the Internet.

2. In the past years, several variants have been proposed to overcome the limitations that the standard TCP has in particular scenarios, such as wireless or satellite networks.

3. Ultimately TCP Hybla performance is more in wired network and TCP BIC performance is more in Wireless Network.

 

Manuscript Abstract
Among different technological advances, the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) is widely used mainly by the Internet applications. Computer network is used for various applications in the real world. Nowadays without computer network, communication System will not exist. All the computer communication follows protocols. Network analysis, are processes used to produce designs that are logical, reproducible and defensible. Since its declaration in the 1970s, a lot of variants have been introduced to cope with the various network abilities and conditions we can have (e.g., wireless networks, wired networks, and satellite links) and recently there are 13 different TCP variants included in Linux OS. The objective of this article is to demonstrate a comparative study of the behavior of the different TCP Linux variants, in terms of throughput, fairness, and friendliness for its superiority. The TCP is for sure the most used transport layer protocol in the Internet. In the past years, several variants have been proposed to overcome the limitations that the standard TCP has in particular scenarios, such as wireless or satellite networks. Ultimately, TCP Hybla performance is more in wired network and TCP BIC performance is more in Wireless Network.
